About Me

Going into my junior year at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, I am a math and physics double major. I hail from the beautiful state of Washington. I have a great interest in electronics and instrumentation, as well as computing (and of course physics and the connections between the sun and the earth!). When not studying I tend to be running, backpacking or skiing. Sometimes, when I feel really creative, I play my saxophone or my clarinet, or I learn new tunes at the piano. I absolutely love listening to music (music I haven't heard before especially!). The best live performances I've seen have been Mussorgsky's Karenschina, which I saw at the Met, Saxophone Summit, who came to Lafayette my freshman year, Vijay Iyer, who I saw at Lafayette, Maria Schneider's Orchestra, who I saw at the Jazz Standard, and a performance of Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time, which struck me profoundly.
