YOHKOH PUBLIC OUTREACH PROJECT

Introduction

The Yohkoh Public Outreach Project (YPOP) is a NASA funded educational outreach project designed to create high quality public access to Yohkoh/SXT and other solar data via the Internet. An additional and equally important component of this project is to provide educational products for dissemination to the K-12 community. These products will utilize all available technology and will be comprised of interactive lessons geared at increasing the public awareness of science with a strong emphasis on astronomy and the space sciences.
