Undergraduate activities:
In college my Freshman year, I was Freshman representative of Honors
Students, was involved in the Honors Student Committee by serving
as chair of the Pot Luck guest speaker program, serving as chair of the
annual Hike and Read program, and participating in the Gifted and
Talented Education program. My sophomore year, I was treasurer of the
Honors Students committee, and was chair of Hike and Read. Junior year
I was the president of the Honors Student Committee, the vice-president
of
the Society for Physics Students, and the undergraduate representative
of
the physics department undergraduate committee. Senoir year, I was the
Vice
President Operations in my sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, which I had
been
a member of for two years. Besides being active in these groups, I have
run
Science Olympiad events, and taught classes at Peaks and Potentials and
Expanding
Your Horizons.
