This picture of a skydome is part of an online lesson of the Yohkoh Public Outreach Project. It shows where the sun is in the sky at different times of the year, and is used in conjunction with a handmade sundial necklace (which will work anywhere in the northern hemisphere) to tell time. To read the full lesson, go to the Making a Horizontal Sundial Page YPOP is an educational internet project to give the general population easy access to the Soft X-Ray images from the Yohkoh satellite.
