About Me:
I'm a physics major from Lincolnville, ME. I am going to be a senior at
Colby College in the fall. I'm working here at Montana State University
for ten weeks this summer. The research that I am doing involves
looking at how coronal holes in the sun change over time. Beyond that I
will be looking at how these coronal holes relate to the magnetic field
data of the sun. This is my third summer doing research. I spent last
summer in Flagstaff, AZ at NAU doing ground based observing of NEOs
(Near Earth Objects) and writing and running programs to analyze the
data. The summer before that I spent in Durham, NH at UNH working with
data from the ACE and WIND spacecrafts on ICMEs (Interplanetary Coronal
Mass Ejections).
