Professor Kankelborg and Sarah are creating a piece of software that will allow us to visualize the data as a video. The video goes through each frame of the data, with the spectrum and the image with the slit side by side. The boxes that I drew around the explosive events last week appear on the video in the time and place that the EEs are happening, in order to highlight these events. The movie software is still in progress, but I have been testing the movie versions as they are completed. I also experimented with different ways to put the movie frames together to get the best video that would allow us to stop the video at a specific frame and classify the EE. We determined that using a square root scale for the color allowed for the best visibility of all the features we wanted to see.
