Before arrival, you will be given an appointment form to fill and turn in. You should save your copy of this form for tax purposes (the stipend is taxable). The appointment form reads "You are advised that amounts granted are taxable income if the total scholarship amount exceeds tuition and fees required for enrollment (not including room and board) and include fees, books, supplies and equipment required for courses of instruction.
