Solar activity continues at a low level. NOAA 14100 has shown slight further activity since the last message, however several flares were produced from a currently unnumbered active region at the southeast limb. The largest of these was an M1.4 at 12:52 UT today. This region already shows notable emerging flux and numerous loop structures while not yet fully transitioned over the eastern limb. At this time, we are ending the Major Flare Watch and switching the target region to the southeast limb. Further C- and M-class activity is anticipated in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 03-June-2025 at 13:30 UT is
S14E87, (-916", -228")
