Subject: RE: HIGH CADENCE IMAGING CAMPAIGN: suggested dates Date: Mon, 29 Apr 2002 08:10:32 -0500 From: "Hagyard, Mona" To: "'Richard Canfield'" Dick: MSFC will participate whenever possible in any and all campaigns (excluding limb observations). However, high cadence for the MSFC vector magnetograph is 3-4 minutes so I didn't think we qualified for the HC imaging campaign. For most participants who do not presently observe whenever possible, the best times for a scheduled (fixed dates) high cadence imaging campaign appear to be (first campaign) during the upcoming MEDOC campaign, May 20 - June 2, and (second campaign) during the first half of August. Within these time periods, we will start high cadence observations only if the MM_COs decide the probability of flares is high enough. If you intend to join either of campaigns, please confirm this by an e-mail to me. If you cannot join either of these campaigns, please tell me when you will observe (I already know about GMRT (May 12, 13). -- Department of Physics E-mail: canfield@physics.montana.edu Montana State University Telephone: (406) 994-5581 P.O.
