MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1271 was the source of a B5.4 limb flare at 08/28/04:22 UT.
The flare was associated with a beautiful CME off the west limb.
1271 has completed west limb passage. The target region will
switch to the region located near the southeast limb which has
produced B-class events in the past 48 hours. The region is
displaying minor surging and a few bright points in
H-alpha images. It currently has a simple magnetic configuration.
No significant flare activity is expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target region on August 28 at 14:15 UT is:
S20E73 (Solar X = -855", Solar Y = -355")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and
