Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is at a very low level. Newly numbered NOAA region 11140
has rotated over the NE limb and has a simple alpha magnetic classification.
This region has been the source of several B-class flares, the largest being a
B9.2 on 31-Dec-2010 at 19:28 UT. Further B-class activity is probable, with a
small chance of a C-class event.

The position of NOAA 11140 on 1-Jan-2011 at 11:00 UT is:

N32E61, ( -726", 538" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and
