MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The several regions on the visible solar disk are very quiescent.
Solar flare activity is expected to continue at a very low level.
The target region (most likely the return of old NOAA regions 1243/1246)
has mostly rotated over the NE limb. It appears to have just
one small leader sunspot. There is weak surging in the trailing portion.
No significant solar flare activity is expected during the next 24 hour
period.

The position of the target region on July 24 at 15:00 UT is:
N19E78 (Solar X = -874", Solar Y = 290")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
