MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The largest x-ray event yesterday was a long duration C2
at 18:30 UT from NOAA 1208 near the northwest limb.
The event was associated with a west limb CME.
The target region (NOAA 1218) has a simple alpha sunspot group.
We will switch to NOAA 1214. Solar flare
activity is expected to be very low today.
The position of NOAA 1214 on May 19 at 15:30 UT is:
S24W51 (Solar X = 674", Solar Y = -365")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
