Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA regions 11401 and 11402 have increased in complexity, area,
and number of spots. Both are now classified as beta-gamma/E-type
sunspot groups. NOAA 11401 continues to produce C-class activity,
the largest being a C2.2 flare on 17-Jan-2012 at 18:32 UT. Further
C-class events are likely, with a chance for another M-class event
in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 11401 on 18-Jan-2012 at 10:30 UT is:

N18E32, ( -497", 367" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and
