MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 1613, S24W27, has decayed significantly
and was mostly quiescent only producing two C-class events.
The largest was a C2.8 at 11/17/18:08 UT. Recently emerged
NOAA 1619, N10E08, is developing rapidly. It has a strong
arch-type filament system with bright plage. It is currently
classified as a D-type/beta-gamma region. It was the source
of a C4.3 event at 11/18/13:07 UT. We'll switch the target to
NOAA 1619 today. Additional C-class events expected with
even an isolated M-class event possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1619 on November 18 at UT is:
N10E08 (Solar X = -133", Solar Y = 129")
