MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

There was a very impressive filament eruption in the SE quadrant
since the last message. The eruption was associated with a large
double-ribbon flare, a large bright and fast CME and a long-duration
C8.4 x-ray event at 08/31/20:43 UT. Target region, NOAA 1560,
is mostly unchanged maintaining a D-type/beta-gamma sunspot
group. A C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 1560 on September 01 at 13:00 UT is:
N04E01 (Solar X = -016", Solar Y = -053")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
