MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is at a very low level. The
background x-ray flux is currently at the B1.6 level.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a B7.1
at 01/26/03:01. Its source was an EFR located at S11E51.
Target region NOAA 1660 is the largest region on the visible
disk but it only has a simple D-type/beta sunspot group
and is slowly decaying as it approaches the west
limb.
The position of NOAA 1660 on January 26 at 18:00 UT is:
N13W79 (Solar X = 932", Solar Y = 235")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
