MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 1760 was the source of a
somewhat surprising M1.0 event at 05/31/20:00 UT.
1760 continues to display a tiny B-type/beta sunspot group
with mixed polarity non-spot plage. 1760 will continue to
be the default target for today. There is a strong EFR located
at S29W02 that will most likely become tomorrow's target.
C-class events possible from 1760 and/or the EFR with
a slight chance of another minor M-class event.

The position of NOAA 1760 on June 01 at 13:00 UT is:
N12E30 (Solar X = -464", Solar Y = 205")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
