MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 1762 was the source of three limb
occulted C-class events since the last message. The
largest was a C3.7 event at 06/09/02:08 UT. 1762 has
rotated too far from the visible disk to continue to be the target.
The new target will be NOAA 1765. 1765 is currently displaying
a simple D-type/beta sunspot group. B-class events probable
with a chance of a C-class event in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 1765 on June 09 at 13:00 UT is:
N08W31 (Solar X = 483", Solar Y = 126")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
