Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is at a low level. Since the previous
message, a C2.5 flare was released on 04-Oct-2013 at
03:32 UT from yesterday's target region (NOAA 11856).
The photospheric and coronal configuration of the target
has not changed appreciably since the flare. Nearby
NOAA 11857 is mildly active in X-rays and appears to
be strongly magnetically connected to the target region,
possibly leading to further destabilisation. Continued
B-class activity is expected with a further C-class event
being likely.

The position of NOAA 11856 on 04-Oct-2013 at 20:00 UT is:

N07E45, ( -674", 40" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Paul Higgins (Trinity College Dublin/LMSAL)
