MM#003 Major Flare Watch

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a moderate level. The target region,
NOAA 12222 was the source of a series of C-class events
and a M1.5 flare on 5-Dec-2014 at 12:25 UT, since the last
message. While the mixed polarity flux joined with the large
leading spot is decaying, its flaring activity continues. The
Major Flare Watch will continue for at least the following 24
hours. Further M-class activity is likely, with a significant
chance for an isolated >M5 flare.

The position of NOAA 12222 on 5-Dec-2014 at 16:35 UT is:

S19W47 ( 674", -321" )
