Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA region 11944 continues to
be the largest and most complex region on the visible disk, displaying
a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group configuration. This region has
maintained both spot area and number of spots over the past 24 hours,
producing low C-class flares and an M7.2 on 7-Jan-2014 at 10:07 UT. At
this time we are implementing a MM#003 Major Flare Watch, as 11944 has
produced a flare above M5 and retains the capacity to produce further
major flares.

The position of NOAA 11944 on 7-Jan-2014 at 12:30 UT is:

S09E04, ( -69", -90" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
