Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Since the previous
message, yesterday's target (NOAA 12178) released
the largest event, a C9 flare on 3-Oct-2014 at 07:30
UT (the event source was determined from GOES/SXI).
NOAA 12178 maintains the largest area and most
complex configuration (a weak gamma) of the ARs on
disk. Further C-class activity is probably with the chance
for a low M-class event.
The position of NOAA 12178 on 3-Oct-2014 at 19:00 UT is:
S02W05, ( 84", -143" )
