MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, NOAA 2403, was the source of an impulsive
M5.6 event at 08/24/07:33 UT. 2403 also produced 13
C-class events since the last message. 2403 has decayed
slightly following the M5 event but is still a large F-type
sunspot group with a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration
with the potential to produce another event =/>M5.
At this time we are implementing Max Millennium coordinated
observing plan #003. C-class events certain with a
chance for a major flare =/>M5 in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2403 on August 24 at 14:35 UT is:
S15W13 (Solar X = 206", Solar Y = -354")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
