Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 12287 produced no
activity in the past 24 hours while maintaining spot area and number
of spots. This region has been reclassified as a beta/D-type sunspot
group. NOAA 12209 has grown marginally in spot area over the previous
24 hours and is also classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. The
largest magnitude flare of the past 24 hours (a B7.1 on 21-Feb-2015
at 18:20 UT) was produced from a location slightly westward of this
region. Further B-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12290 on 22-Feb-2015 at 16:30 UT is:
N19E22, ( -345”, 420” )
