Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has increased substantially since the last message with
NOAA 12497 producing a C8.9 flare at 00:49 UT and an M1.0 flare at
10:36 UT today. The region has decayed in its trailing portion, but
newly emerged positive flux along the leading edge of the negative
leader spot has changed its classification to a beta-gamma-delta
region. Further C-level activity likely over the next 24 hours with
chance for an isolated low M-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12497 on 12-Feb-2016 at 15:31 UT is:

N13W15, ( 246", 324" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

Regards,

Ryan Milligan (NASA/GSFC)
