MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is very low. The background x-ray
flux is currently at the A9.3 level. Target region NOAA 2558
continues in decay phase and is now spotless. The target
will switch to the large H-type/alpha sunspot (NOAA 2553)
located in the southwestern quadrant. 2553 was the source
of two minor B-class events in the past 24 hours. No significant
solar flare events expected anytime soon.

The position of NOAA 2553 on June 21 at 14:20 UT is:
S06W72 (Solar X = 893", Solar Y = -107")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
