MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is extremely low. The background x-ray
flux is currently flat at the A8.7 level. The visible solar disk
is spotless. The only event since the last message was a
minor B3.7 at 06/24/00:34 UT produced by tiny spotless
NOAA 2557 (N09W72). The spotless target region NOAA
was quiescent during the past 24 hours. The extremely
low level of solar flare activity is expected to continue for
the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 2556 on June 24 at 14:20 UT is:
N05W21 (Solar X = 338", Solar Y = 049")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
