MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is extremely low. No events since the
last message. The background x-ray flux is currently flat
at the A6.1 level. There is a tiny pore in the plage located
at N16E57. The target plage has significantly decayed.
The target will switch to an active prominence located on
the northeastern limb. No noteworthy solar flare activity
expected but there is a slight chance that the activated
prominence may become eruptive during the next
24 hour period.

The approximate position of the target on June 28 at 07:00 UT is:
N16E90 (Solar X = -907", Solar Y = 260")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
