MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 2663 has continued to decay
significantly. 2663 produced a weak B1.4 event at
06/20/05:40 UT. The largest event in the past 24 hours
was a limb occulted B5.0 at 06/19/16:04 UT. Its
source was the region located on the northeastern
limb. The limb region is too close to the limb to ascertain
the magnetic configuration of its sunspot group. It is
possible that there are two separate "stacked" regions.
B-class events possible with a slight chance of an isolated
C-class event in the next 24 hour period.

The approximate position of the target on June 20 at 14:30 UT is:
N17E85 (Solar X = -900", Solar Y = 274")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
