MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is extremely low. The background
x-ray flux is flat at the A4.5 level. The visible solar
disk is currently spotless. The target will continue to
be the area of the northwestern limb at the location
of the limb passage of NOAA 2683. 2683 is now
well beyond the limb but is still displaying weak and
infrequent tiny surges. No significant solar flare events
expected in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 2683 on October 10 at 03:30 UT is:
N13W91 (Solar X = 936", Solar Y = 217")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
