Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has been at a very low level since the last message. The
largest event of the period was an A9.1 at 1/20/17:42 UT produced by
the target NOAA 12696. 12696 has decayed to a plage region, and the
visible solar disk is spotless now. No noteworthy events are expected
in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 12696 on January 21 at 12:30 UT is:
S12W49 (721", -146")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory / Montana State University)
