MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Solar flare activity remains at an extremely low level.
The last reported event was five days ago. The current
visible solar disk is spotless. The target region NOAA 2724
is slowly decaying. 2724 has a small active filament located
along its main magnetic inversion line. If possible, include
NOAA 2725 (S09W10) within F-O-V. There is a slight
chance of a minor B-class event in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 2724 on October 19 at 10:00 UT is:
S09W24 (Solar X = 166", Solar Y = -242")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
