MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 2733 was the source of numerous
B-class events and 3 C-class events since the last message.
The largest C-class event was a C5.2 at 01/30/06:11 UT.
2733 is now too close to the northwestern limb to ascertain
its magnetic configuration but it is likely that the emerging
opposite trailing positive polarity flux joined the leading
sunspot's negative polarity penumbra to form a small
magnetic delta configuration. B-class events probable
with the chance of another C-class event in the next 24
hour period.

The position of NOAA 2733 on January 30 at 14:30 UT is:
N05W85 (Solar X = 966", Solar Y = 093")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
