MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 2740 was the source of countless B-class
events and five C-class events since the last message. The two
largest C-class events were a C9.9 at 05/06/05:10 and a C7.3 at
05/06/13:54 UT. After displaying some decay in the opposite
polarity spots located directly north of the large leading sunspot,
new opposite polarity spots emerged within the leader's penumbra
forming a weak magnetic delta configuration. C-class events
expected with a good chance of an isolated M-class event in the
next 24 hour period. The return of old NOAA 2739 is now
visible on the northeastern limb at N05 degrees.

The position of NOAA 2740 on May 06 at 12:45 UT is:
N08E47 (Solar X = -691", Solar Y = 174")
