MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is extremely low. The current
visible solar disk is spotless and plageless. Target
region NOAA 2741 is now located beyond the
northwestern limb where faint prominence material
associated with the region is still visible. No
significant solar flare activity expected anytime soon.

The position of NOAA 2741 on May 20 at 13:30 UT is:
N05W91 (Solar X = 944", Solar Y = 081")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
