MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Target region 2768 has significantly decayed since the
last message. The target will switch to the region that
was rotating over the northeastern limb yesterday.
The region was a spotless plage during its east limb
passage but emerging flux has now appeared within
the region. The region was the source of numerous
A-class events and a B2.1 event at 08/01/10:45 UT.
A-class events expected with the chance of another
B-class event in the next 24 hour period.

The position of the target region on August 01 at 17:00 UT is:
N27E73 (Solar X = -807", Solar Y = 403")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
