Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has been at a very low level with the visible solar disk
being spotless. Only an A1.9 flare was produced by NOAA 12772
that is rotating over the west limb. Yesterday's target region has been
further decaying and has not produced any events since the last
message. Today the target will switch to an east-limb region that will
be rotating onto the visible disk. Only minor activities are possible in
the next 24 hours.

The approximate position of the target on August 23 at 10:00 UT is:

N32E87 (-880", 480")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
