Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity continues at background levels. The target
region NOAA 12755 has decayed further since the last
message. 12755 still shows some small jets and remains
today's target region. Note that there is another region at
the east limb rotating onto the visible disk. No noteworthy
activities are likely in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 12755 on January 6 at 20:30 UT is:
S35W02 (27", -510")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
