Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message.
A new region, designated as NOAA 12756, produced three
B1 flares on January 9. 12756 will be today's target, which
has a beta/C-type classification. Additional low B-class flares
are likely when 12756 rotates to the west limb.

The position of NOAA 12756 on January 10 at 02:30 UT is:
N22W66 (827", 390")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
