MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Cycle 24 target region continues to decay and
continues to be quiescent. The target will switch
to the Cycle 25 region located in the southeastern
quadrant. This region was the source of four
minor B-1 events today. The region has a few pores
and mixed non-spot plage polarities. Additional minor
A- and/or B-class events possible in the next 24 hours.

The position of the target on January 28 at 13:45 UT is:
S30E43 (Solar X = -577", Solar Y = -425")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
