MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

The target region is now numbered NOAA 2768.
2768 (A-type/alpha) has decayed somewhat in
its leading sunspot. The extensive trailing polarity
portion of 2768 has minor mixed polarities within
its intermediate area. 2768 was the source of a
couple of A-class events since the last message.
The largest was an A4.5 at 07/29/05:04 UT.
It's nice to see two numbered Cycle 25 regions
on the visible disk. Minor events probable in
the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 2768 on July 29 at 10:00 UT is:
N26E70 (Solar X = -799", Solar Y = 385")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
