Dear Collaborators,

The level of solar activity continues to be extremely low. The newly
emerged magnetic flux region in the South East quadrant (that is the
current target) has grown in number of spots, spot area, and also now
developed a rudimentary penumbra on its leading spot. This region has
been the source of several A-class flares since the previous message.
An isolated B-class flare is possible in the following 24-hour period
if this region continues to emerge new flux.

The approximate position of this region on 8-Mar-2020 at 16:30 UT is:

S29E32 , ( -448", -376" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Shaun Bloomfield (Northumbria University)
