MM#003 Major Flare Watch

Dear Collaborators,

The target region produced a couple of minor limb occulted
B-class events since the last message. A single round
trailing polarity sunspot which is most likely the return of
old NOAA 2781 has completed east limb passage at S20
degrees. The long duration M4.4 event yesterday was the
strongest flare event of Cycle 25. There is a chance of
another M-class event in the next 48 hours.

The approximate position of the target on Nov. 30 at 09:30 UT is:
S24E89 (Solar X = -889", Solar Y = -396")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
