MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 2775 continued to grow adding
sunspot area and spot count but its sunspot group
remained a magnetically simple B-type/beta classification.
2775 produced numerous minor A-class events since the
last message. A new region located beyond the
northeastern limb was the source of an A8.0 event at
10/10/12:26 UT. It is possible this region will become
the target tomorrow. No significant solar flare activity
expected in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 2775 on October 10 at 09:00 UT is:
S24E17 (Solar X = -258", Solar Y = -481")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
