Dear Collaborators,

NOAA 12859 was the source of a C1.5 flare at 14:18 UT yesterday but
has since decayed to an alpha region. A large, rapidly emerging region
in the southeast quadrant was also the source of a C1 flare at 01:10
UT yesterday and shall be the new target region. The region is
designated as NOAA 12860 and has a beta/B-type configuration. Further
B- and C-level activity likely from the new target region over the
next 24 hours as it continues to develop.

The position of NOAA 12860 on 25-Aug-2021 at 11:30 UT is:

S28E34, ( -469", -528" )
