MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Several minor C-class events were produced by NOAA
regions 2908, 2915, 2916, 2917, and 2920. NOAA 2908
located beyond the southwestern limb was the source
of the largest event (C3.2 at 12/26/20:12 UT). Target region
NOAA 2916 is not as magnetically complex today losing its
beta-gamma-delta configuration but it still has a large
E-type/beta sunspot group with some weak mixed polarities
within its trailing portion. C-class events are possible from
several regions currently located on the visible solar disk.
Target region NOAA 2916 has the potential to produce
C-class events with a slight chance an isolated M-class
event in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 2916 on December 27 at 15:00 UT is:
S17E09 (Solar X = -147", Solar Y = -246")
