MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 2916 (E-type/beta-gamma) is decaying
and produced only a couple of minor B-class events in the
past 24 hours. The largest event since the last message
was a C9.8 at 12/31/06:56. The source region was
almost spotless NOAA 2918 (N20W63). A C-class event is
possible in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 2916 on December 31 at 15:45 UT is:
S17W44 (Solar X = 650", Solar Y = -221")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
