Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity continues at low levels despite the presence of seven
numbered active regions on the visible solar disk. The target region
in the southeast limb, which was the source of a C1.2 flare at 15:55
UT yesterday, has now been designated as NOAA 12849 and is classified
as an alpha region. It shall continue as the target region for a
further 24 hours, and please include NOAA 12847 in your field of view
if possible. Only isolated low-level events likely at this time.

The position of NOAA 12849 on 22-Jul-2021 at 11:30 UT is:

S18E68, ( -833", -320" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and
