MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity remains at a very low level. The
recently emerged target region NOAA 2898 was the
source of a few minor events since the last message.
The largest was a B1.3 at 11/24/16:29 UT. 2898
continues in the growth phase adding sunspot area and
spot count. The region's sunspot group classification is
now D-type/beta. Additional minor A- and B-class
events expected with a C-class event possible in the next
24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2898 on November 24 at 15:45 UT is:
S24E37 (Solar X = -536", Solar Y = -417")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and
